CPN-Unified inaugurates its national convention

KATHMANDU: The National Convention of Communist Party of Nepal (Unified) was inaugurated at Tirhutiya Gachhi in Janakpur, a historical place in Tarai region, Saturday afternoon. The party’s senior leaders Ram Singh Shrish, Rishiram Kattel and Sita Ram Tamang, jointly inaugurated the convention after the party’s rally arrived at the venue from Barhabigha Maidan in Janakpur. “The convention will last for seven days,” the party’s senior leader Nava Raj Subedi told myrepublica.com. Besides electing the party’s Central Committee, the convention will pass its major policies and other agendas.
