CPN picks Oli as its parliamentary party leader

KATHMANDU, May 19: A meeting of the reconstituted Communist Party of Nepal (CPN)'s parliamentary party today unanimously nominated Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli as the parliamentary party leader.

KATHMANDU, May 19: A meeting of the reconstituted Communist Party of Nepal (CPN)'s parliamentary party today unanimously nominated Prime Minister and party chairman KP Sharma Oli as the parliamentary party leader.

The meeting of the parliamentary party convened at Naya Baneshwar for the first time after the party unification.


Lawmaker Dev Prasad Gurung had proposed Oli's name for the post and the meeting endorsed it unanimously. The meeting of the parliamentary party is in progress.
