The central committee meeting of the party held on August 3 took such decision unanimously, said the party leaders in a news conference in the capital on Wednesday.[break]
Bishnu Raj Aryal, who was the general secretary earlier, has been appointed the chairman of the party effective from the same day.
Newly appointed party chairman Aryal said lawmakers Yadu Bansa Jha and Tilak Bahadur Thapa Magar will also be relieved of the post.
