92 cases recorded in Morang district alone
MORANG, Aug 16: As many as 103 more people have been diagnosed with novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Province 1 in the past 24 hours. Those tested positive for the virus include 69 males and 34 females.

Of the total cases reported in the Province, 92 patients are from Morang district alone. These include 86 new cases from Biratnagar Metropolitan City, three from Budhi Ganga Rural Municipality, two from Dhanpalthan Rural Municipality and one other from Katahari Rural Municipality.
The remaining COVID-19 cases diagnosed in Province 1 in the past 24 hours include six from Khotang, two from Sunsari, one from Ilam and two others from outside Province 1, according to the province’s Social Development Ministry.
As of Sunday afternoon, COVID-19 tally in Province 1 has climbed to 2,010.
