KATHMANDU, March 24: Nepal on Wednesday confirmed as many as 145 more cases of COVID-19. This has taken Nepal’s COVID-19 caseload to 276,389 since the Himalayan nation first reported the viral disease on January 23 last year.

Nepal has witnessed gradual sharp in the newer COVID-19 infections of late owing to rise in transmission in the southern neighbor, India.
The Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) confirmed 188 other cases on Tuesday. The most number of confirmed cases were reported from the Kathmandu Valley, where the country’s federal capital city lies.
