Talking to journalists at Pokhara airport, Vice President Jha, however, expressed optimism that country will get a new prime minister in the next voting as "political parties have expedited secret meetings". [break]
Jha said that there is chance of electing prime minister since there have been efforts to forge consensus through secret political meetings in the last two weeks.
Jha also ruled out the possibility of presidential rule and monarchy making a comeback in the country. “In the past people used to call king to save country,” he said. “Some people may have talked about presidential rule in the same way these days. But there is no such possibility in the country now.”
Jha arrived Pokhara in course of visiting various religious sites in the town. He visited Narayanthan Temple located in Nadipur, Bindhyabasini Temple and Ram Mandir in Birauta area on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, President Dr Ram Baran Yadav is also arriving in Pokhara on Thursday to take part in the centennial ceremony of Prithvi Narayan Campus, Pokhara.
