KATHMANDU, March 13: A consensus has reached on new leadership of Private and Boarding Schools Organisation Nepal (PABSON) in the run-up to its 14th national general convention.
The consensus was reached on the initiative of former Chairpersons of PABSON. Separate panes led by Tikaram Puri and DK Dhungana had registered their candidacies for leadership.

On the proposal of former Chairperson Umesh Shrestha, the understanding was reached to propose Puri as Chair and Dhungana as Co-Chair of the organisation. Preparation is on to present the agenda of understanding in the session today.
Preparation is also being made to revise the statute of the PABSON to accommodate the position of Co-Chairperson and some other positions.
According to former Chairperson Lakshya Bahadur KC, preparation is underway to announce the consensus on leadership at 11.30 this morning.
PABSON has set its election programme for Wednesday (today) to pick new leadership. PABSON has total 2,438 members from across the country.
