Complaint demanding cancellation of candidature of Gandaki Province Finance Minister Baral filed at EC

KATHMANDU, Nov 16: A complaint has been lodged with the Election Commission (EC) demanding the cancellation of the candidature of Ramji Baral, the Finance Minister of Gandaki Province who has become a candidate for the House of Representatives from Kaski constituency no. 3.

Bodhraj Regmi of Pokhara-24 filed a complaint claiming that the Maoist Center Candidate Baral is in the blacklist. It is mentioned in his complaint that Baral is ineligible to be a candidate.

In the complaint filed by Regmi, it is mentioned that his name has been blacklisted for not paying Rs 3.8 million to the Youth and Small Entrepreneur Self-Employment Fund.
