KATHMANDU, Oct 9: Minister for Health and Population, Birodh Khatiwada has said that the five-party coalition will be maintained until the upcoming elections.
Speaking at a program in Pokhara organized by the CPN (Unified Socialist) of Kaski district on the occasion of Dashain, Khatiwada said that the coalition of the ruling parties will be maintained until the upcoming elections on condition to protect the constitution.

Khatiwada who is also the general secretary of CPN (Unified Socialist) said they had formed a new party to protect the communist movement by going against CPN-UML and its Chairman KP Sharma Oli.
Stating that there is no meaning to call the present government as ‘a government born out of mandamus’, he said that the way former PM KP Sharma Oli became the country’s PM due to the signatures of the lawmakers is the same way the present government was elected. “The present government is not born out of a mandamus. The same lawmakers who paved the way for KP Oli to become the PM are the ones who have supported the present government.
Furthermore, Health Minister Khatiwada said that he will work along with the suggestions received from discussions to make the service in the Western Regional Hospital more effective by working with the federal government.
