KATHMANDU, Sept 27: A meeting of the leaders of the ruling coalition parties on the distribution of seats for the upcoming House of Representatives and provincial assembly elections is currently underway at Baluwatar, the official residence of the Prime Minister.

In the meeting the issue of distribution of seats for the provincial assemblies is being discussed.

Although the coalition meeting has been held several times regarding the distribution of seats, no agreement has been reached. Maoists and CPN (United Socialist), which are in the ruling coalition, are in favor of reaching an agreement on the number of seats as soon as possible.
