KATHMANDU, Jan8: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of the Nepal Police has suspected match-fixing in the Nepal T-20 League.
The facts of fixing in the tournament organized by Nepal Cricket Association (CAN) have been revealed from the preliminary investigation, according to the police source.

"There is a strong suspicion of fixing by players as well as other people,” a police source informed Republica.
Last Tuesday, Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister Rabi Lamichhane instructed the Nepal Police to investigate match-fixing. Nepal Police has entrusted the investigation to CIB. The CIB has completed the preliminary investigation.
Rumors of match-fixing have been ongoing since the start of Nepal T20 League on December 24. While the league was underway, some players and officials involved in the tournament had made a statement that fixing is being done.
