KATHMANDU, May 12 : The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has asked the people to file complaints against cases of corruption or abuse of authority.

Such complaints can be filed at CIAA, regional administration offices or district administration offices along with proofs. “Anyone can file complaints against those involved corrupt practices,” said the anti-graft body in a statement issued on Sunday. “Also, complaints can be registered by persons affected by such acts of corruption and abuse of authority.”[break]

CIAA has also sought support from anti-corruption activists and institutions, civil society members and the public for the crackdown on corruption and abuse of authority.

The anti-graft body has invited complaints two days after Chief Commissioner Lokman Singh Karki and Commissioner Keshav Baral assumed office. The commission had no chief for the last six years.
