KATHMANDU, Dec 20: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a graft case against the former governor of Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) Dr Tilak Rawal at Special Court for his alleged involvement in corruption while printing polymer notes of Rs 10.
In a press statement released by the anti-graft body, former governor Rawal along with then chief of note department of NRB Upendra Keshari Paudyal and local representative of Mayflower Limited, Himalaya Bahadur Pandey have been accused of their involvement over the printing of polymer note.

The anti-graft body, in its charge-sheet, has accused all three of embezzling Rs 9.1 million each by using low-quality materials in the printing 50 million polymers note of Rs 10.
The graft-case has been filed against them in line with the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1960 and 2003.
