The helicopter, with four people onboard, was en route to Dolpa of Karnali from Kathmandu to rescue a 60-year-old French citizen, who is reportedly sick.
Pilot Kumar Chalise, Shyam GC of Gulmi, Jitendra Jhankri and Hirababu Karki of Kathmandu were onboard. They are safe, according to Chief District Officer Luk Bahadur Chhetri.
