“The courage to face risk is very important in business,” Chuke told Republica.
Hotel Gangotri, which Chuke established a decade ago with the investment of Rs 11.5 million, faced several challenged in its initial days. But Chuke faced the challenges and the scenario gradually changed with time.
The hotel, which originally had 19 rooms, has now been upgraded into a fine establishment with 15 deluxe rooms and 34 standard rooms.
Chuke took another bold step by opening Hotel Gangotri Highway in Ratnanagar. “Establishing a hotel in Ratanangar, which is close to Sauraha, was a very challenging job. But I took the challenge and we all know the result,” he added.
The hotel has 34 rooms and a seminar hall capable of accommodating 500 people at a time. “The hotel can be the best option for tourist and conference groups,” he added.
And this is not all. Chuke is planning to open a shopping complex - Ganga Plaza - in Narayanghat. “The four-storied building, which is estimated to cost Rs 20 million, will have 42 shops and a cinema hall,” Chuke informed Republica.
Chuke, who entered the real estate business 15 years ago, also operate Chitwan Gurans Investment and Developers. “My business wasn´t affected even when land and housing business was passing through gloom. I was serving a good number of people when other developers hardly had any client,” he added.
He is also planning to make a foray into agriculture and education sectors through Hansa Co-operative. “Though this co-operative, I am planning to invest in fishery, agriculture and education sector,” Chuke added. He is already into Chuke Egg-Tray Industry which enjoys 20 percent share in the market.
More than 150 people are getting employment opportunities in Chuke´s different ventures.
“I always do proper research and study before starting any business venture,” Chuke explained the reason behind his success.
