KATHMANDU, April 28: A Chinese Company has submitted a proposal for the construction of infrastructure required for the operation of monorail in Kathmandu Metropolis.
The Chinese Company, CRCC, has come up with the proposal in a way to construct the monorail infrastructure along the Ring Road of Kathmandu Valley within two years, said KMC Public Private Partnership Unit Chief Mahesh Kafle.

"KMC leadership is holding discussion on the Chinese Company CRCC's proposal with plan to operate monorail on 28-km Ring Road", he informed.
The proposal includes demand for undertaking comprehensive feasibility study of the plan. The plan has proposed the construction of two-lane track and eight bridges for monorail operation. RSS
