Tharu, whose previous best timing was 11.21 seconds in the Youth Olympic Games, finished the 100 m sprint in 10.64 seconds during the selection.
Baniya clocked 14 minutes 57.15 seconds to complete 5,000 m. He has a previous best timing of 15 minutes 18.21 seconds, which he set during the first round of Asiad selection. Adhikari took 1 minute 2.50 seconds to complete 400 m. Her previous best timing was 1 minute 2.63 seconds.

Nepal Amateur Athletics Association conducted the final round selection on Tuesday and Wednesday to pick four male and four female athletes. Altogether 17 athletes participated in the final round of selection.
The association will pick eight athletes on Thursday on the basis of performance analysis and their level in comparison to other Asian athletes.
