KATHMANDU, Dec 1: Chief Election Commissioner (EC) has urged the government to ensure foolproof security for candidates and voters to ensure elections of the federal parliament and provincial assembly in a free and fair environment. In a statement, Yadav asked the government and security agencies to take necessary measures to allow voters to go to the polling stations without fear.
Yadav's remarks come at a time when an increasing number of poll candidates are coming under attack.
