According to Dinesh Agarwal, marketing and service manager at Primax, PowerShot G15 has the fastest Auto-Focus (AF) performance in its class. “G15 can focus on a subject in just 0.17 seconds using the power of Canon´s DIGIC 5 imaging processor, a highly sensitive Canon CMOS image sensor, high ISO speeds of up to ISO 12800, and improved AF algorithms allowing it to capture the moment in 12.1 mega pixels clarity,” said Agarwal.

The camera also has Dual Axis Electronic Leveling system through which photographers can bring up a graphical indicator to help keep the shot level to prevent skewed photos. The feature is perfect for landscape photos and also when the horizon is not visible due to low light or other reasons.
The company has priced the camera at Rs 50,990.
Another new model from Canon, PowerShot S110, can be the best camera for those interested in night photography. The camera has features like DIGIC 5 image processor, an enhanced High Sensitivity (HS) system and a large f/2.0 aperture to capture even the most challenging lighting conditions at 12.1 mega pixels.
According to Agarwal, the camera comes with WiFi and Canon Camera Window app which allows the photographers to directly connect to iOS and Android devices. The PowerShot S110 is available in three colors -- white, black and silver -- and comes with a price tag of Rs 43,990.
Another new offering from Canon, PowerShotSX50HS expands its functionality with a powerful 50x (24-1200mm) optical zoom lens and it can go up to 2400mm with a 100x zoom plus telephoto feature.
At high zoom, even the slightest movement will cause blurry images. To overcome this issue, Agarwal said that the camera is equipped with a Zoom Framing Assist Lock button. “Pressing the button will engage the function and drastically reduce camera shake for sharper telephoto images, even when operating the camera without a tripod,” he added.
The camera is available at Rs 47,490.
Primax International provides 8GB memory card and a big with all the models. The company provides one year warrant on the cameras.
According to Agarwal, Canon EOS 6D is the world´s lightest DSLR camera equipped with a 20.2 mega pixels CMOS sensor with precision 11-point Auto Focus (AF) system. The camera has features like WiFi, GPS support, DIGIC 5+ imaging processor that allows taking high quality videos. It has magnesium alloy body which is dust and drip proof.
The ISO speed of the camera ranges from 100-25600 which is similar to that of the powerful EOS 5D Mark III.
“We have yet to fix the price of the camera as it is on its way to Nepal,” said Agarwal.
