KATHMANDU, Jan 17: The government has decided to issue an ordinance to bring amendment to the Fiscal Procedures and Financial Accountability Act, 2076 BS. 

Minister for Communication and Information Technology Rekha Sharma said that the cabinet meeting held on Wednesday decided to recommend the President to issue the ordinance.

"It has been decided to recommend to the President according to Article 114 of the Constitution of Nepal to issue Ordinance 2080 BS to amend the Fiscal Procedures & Financial Accountability Act, 2076 BS," said Sharma, who is also the government’s spokesperson.

The cabinet meeting has also decided to approve the bill to amend the Political Party Act, 2073 BS to be submitted to the federal parliament.
