KATHMANDU, Oct 9: The Cabinet has formed a three-member talks team to deal with the Indian government on the supply of petroleum products on Friday.

The Cabinet meeting held in Singha Durbar today has formed a ministerial-level talks panel comprising Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pandey, Chief Secretary Somlal Subedi, Commerce and Supplies Secretary Indra Prasad Upadhyaya as members.

India has been imposing blockade after its attempt to halt constitution writing process bit the dust.

India has been floating a seven-point demand including a naturalized citizen be allowed to become prime minister or president, 50 percent representatives from Madhes province in the national parliament.

Various places including Kathmandu have been reeling under the shortage of fuel due to the 'unofficial' economic blockade imposed by India against Nepal.
