Dr Shekhar Koirala meets Deuba to discuss faulty forms, disciplinary action reversal

Dr Koirala, accompanied by central member Dr Minendra Rijal, informed Deuba that the unnumbered forms sent to districts had created complications across the party. He requested that these forms be immediately recalled and replaced with new numbered forms, arguing that the convention process cannot proceed using the faulty forms.

KATHMANDU, Dec 16: Nepali Congress (NC) leader Shekhar Koirala met with party President Sher Bahadur Deuba today to discuss issues related to the distribution of unnumbered forms by the Active Distribution Committee and the possible reversal of disciplinary actions recommended by the Central Discipline Committee.



Dr Koirala, accompanied by central member Dr Minendra Rijal, informed Deuba that the unnumbered forms sent to districts had created complications across the party. He requested that these forms be immediately recalled and replaced with new numbered forms, arguing that the convention process cannot proceed using the faulty forms.

On the disciplinary actions, Dr Koirala emphasized that all pending punishments should be revoked to allow members to actively participate in the party convention and the upcoming general elections. He noted that actions should not be taken against members based on events that occurred during the 2022 election coalition period
