KATHMANDU, Aug 26: The government has declared Rasuwa, Nuwakot and Dhading disaster crisis zones following severe flooding in the three districts.
The decision was taken during an emergency Cabinet meeting on Wednesday. The three districts have been declared disaster crisis zones for three months, with the government deciding to carry out all necessary measures in the affected areas.
A minister said the Cabinet has also directed all ministers to travel to the field and assess the needs falling under their respective ministries.
