RAJBIRAJ, June 25: Chairman of Madhesi People´s Right Forum Nepal Upendra Yadav has said that there is only a slight possibility of holding the Constituent Assembly (CA) polls on the scheduled date.

Speaking at a press meet in Rajbiraj on Tuesday, Yadav said, “Regmi-led government´s decisions are influenced by the three major parties. If the government does not change its attitude, we will be compelled to boycott the polls.” He also said that the government is unlikely to hold the CA polls on the scheduled date. Stating that his party is not against election, he said, “We may participate in the polls for the sake of federalism and democracy,” he said. Yadav said the government must immediately hold the local polls after the CA election. He said the government should hold dialogues with the agitating parties to pave the way for CA election.
