NEPALGUNJ, July 30: Nepali Congress President Sushil Koirala has said everyone has the right to not take part in an election, but not to foil it.

"Election is the significant democratic right of the people", he said and added those who intended to obstruct the election would be boycotted by the people.

Now we all should hold positive discussions about the election issues.

"Those people who have been stating that election will not be held want to push the nation towards anarchy", NC President Koirala said. Efforts are being made to bring the opposing parties to a consensus, but election would be conducted at any cost, he added.

Similarly, party central members Dil Bahadur Gharti, zonal coordinator Dilli Regmi, Dr Suresh Kanaudiya and student leader Bishwa Prakash Sharma stressed on the election to institutionalize changes in the country.

Meanwhile, NC President Koirala today made a field inspection of the Rapti flood–affected Tepari at Holiya VDC in the district. On the occasion, the flood victims complained of lack of proper shelter, assistance and long-term project to control the floods.
