KATHMANDU, July 1: Arun Intercontinental, the authorized dealer of Maruti Suzuki cars will organize Maruti Suzuki Exchange Mela on July 2 and July 3. The mela will be organized in Maruti Suzuki showrooms at Thapathali and Pulchwok. The exchange is valid for Maruti Suzuki owners. Other facilities the company will provide during the fare are on spot finance, free valuation, free test drive, transparent 120 points valuation system and 365 days exchange facilities.





Goodwill Life Assurance Deposit

KATHMANDU, July 1: Goodwill Finance Limited has introduced ´Goodwill Life Assurance Deposit (GLAD) Benefit´ scheme for its depositors. Under this scheme, Goodwill Finance Limited will provide its depositors the coverage of life insurance with sum assured equal to the amount of the deposit. In addition, it will also provide its depositors with additional benefit of 75 percent to 200 percent of the sum assured at the maturity of the policy. The life insurance policy issued under this scheme will be in association with National Life Insurance Company. Goodwill Finance Ltd. will pay the annual insurance premium throughout the policy period.



Unique Hydel issues shares


KATHMANDU, July 1: Unique Hydel Company Pvt Ltd has decided to issue 500,000 shares to the general public. The company has assigned NMB Bank to issue securities and distribute the shares. Madan Lal Pradhan, the director of Unique Hydel Company and Upendra Poudel, the chief executive officer of NMB bank have signed a contract in this regard. Unique Hydel Company has urged NMB Bank to carry out the issuance of the shares at the earliest.





Prime Bank in Itahari


KATHMANDU, July 1: Prime Bank Limited has brought into operation its new branch in Itahari from Thursday. Narendra Bajracharya, the chairman of the bank inaugurated the branch. After the inauguration, the number of branches of the bank has reached 16. As stated in a press statement, the bank is planning to expand its branch network in the days to come.



Int´l Dev Bank opens new branch


KATHMANDU, July 1: International Development Bank, the 12th development bank of national standard, expanded its network by opening a new branch in Malangwa on Thursday. The branch was inaugurated by Sambhu Ghimire, the chief district officer of Sarlahi District. The branch is not currently equipped with ATM and ABBS (Any Branch Banking Service) but is planning to introduce the services soon.



SCBL and Liverpool FC ink deal

KATHMANDU, July 1: Standard Chartered and Liverpool Football Club inked sponsorship agreement on Thursday. As part of the agreement, the bank´s name will be featured in the club´s iconic team shirts, on training wear, inside Anfield, at the Academy and Melwood, as well as across all Club media.
