BUSINESS BRIEFS: Hama dealers' summit concludes

KATHMANDU, Sept 1: Hama Iron and Steel Industries conducted its annual dealers´ summit in Bangkok of Thailand from August 19 to 23.



During the summit, the company presented its future activities for market promotion and informed the dealers that it was upgrading the quality of its products, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. [break]



Established 21 years ago, the company has been the first of its kind to conduct a program and declare its future plans at an international level. “The company will be working rigorously toward providing better services to the society by introducing diverse range of products,” the statement added.



The company also expressed its gratitude to its customers, dealers and depots for their continued help.





IME opens 20th branch



KATHMANDU, Sept 1: IME Financial Institution inaugurated its 20th branch at Chapagaun in Lalitpur on Tuesday.



Chairperson of the institution, Hemraj Dhakal, and Lalitpur CDO Ratna Rajya Pandey jointly inaugurated the branch on the occasion of its sixth anniversary.



Issuing a press statement, the institution said it was providing banking services 365 days a year and also providing free debit card to its customers. The institution had earned Rs 914 million as net profit in fiscal year 2009/10.
