New Yamaha showroom opening on Wednesday
KATHMANDU, March 16: Risik Automobiles Pvt Ltd has opened a Yamaha showroom in Kumaripati, Lalitpur, to sell Yamaha motorbikes, generators and spare parts.
This showroom will provide an outlet for Yamaha products, spare parts and servicing under a single roof, Risik Automobiles said in a statement on Tuesday. The showroom is scheduled to be inaugurated on Wednesday by taekwondo ace Deepak Bista, brand ambassador of Yamaha in Nepal.
The showroom will feature Yamaha generators that minimize fuel usage and can run on both petrol and diesel, the statement added. These generators are 0.7 to 21 kilo Volt-Amps (kVA) capacity and have the ability to run for 24 hours straight.
The company will also provide 24 months warranty and quality after sale service to attract more customers.
Global launches new saving scheme
KATHMANDU, March 16: Global Bank Limited has launched new saving account named the ´Global Super Saving´.
Under the new scheme, the customer will be provided with interest return of 7.5 percent on daily deposit basis, the bank said in a statement. This saving account can be opened with the minimum balance of Rs 25,000.
Customers holding this saving account will be provided with locker facilities, 50 percent off while issuing Visa debit card and 25 percent off while issuing Traveler´s Check, the statement added.
NCC opens new ATM at New Road
KATHMANDU, March 16: Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank has installed a new ATM kiosk at New Road.
Director of the bank Tirtha Pradhan inaugurated the kiosk on Tuesday, the bank said in a statement on Tuesday. With the inauguration of the new ATM kiosk, the number of ATMs in the bank´s network has reached 12.
The bank is planning to install more ATM kiosks at City Centre, Banepa, Mahendranagar, Lumbini and Birtamod, according to the statement.
Jyoti installs new ATM at Lagankhel
KATHMANDU, March 16: Jyoti Bikash Bank Ltd brought into operation its new ATM machine at Lagankhel.
Director of the bank Chhatra Man Shrestha inaugurated the ATM on Tuesday. This is the second ATM kiosk of the bank. Issuing a press statement on Tuesday, Jhalak Prasad Khanal, CEO of the bank, unveiled the plan of opening two new branches at Saraswatinagar and Birgunj.
The bank already has branches in Kamaladi, Butwal, Bardibas, Simara, Chandranigahapur, Pathari, Koteshwar, Jorpati, Asan and Prayag Pokhari.
It is planning to issue 30 percent share to the public in the near future, the statement added.
Sanima opens branch in Bhandara
KATHMANDU, March 16: Sanima Bikas Bank Ltd has opened a new branch at Bhandara in Chitwan.
With the opening of Bhandara branch, the number of branches in the bank´s network has reached 12.
Sanima has now proved its commitment to make their baking services more accessible and reachable to the customers, the bank said in a statement on Tuesday. The bank also has four ATM kiosks in Nagpokhari, Chuchchepati, Suryabinayak and Pokhara.
The bank is in the process of upgrading itself into a ´A´ class commercial bank in the country, according to the statement.
