Bus-hit kills man

BANEPA, Feb 17: Dev Bahadur Khatri, 35, of Pipaldanda, Sindhupalchowk, was killed on Wednesday morning after the motorcycle (Ba 36 Pa 7164) he was riding was hit by an Araniko Yatayat bus (Na 3 Kha 1114) at Keraghari of Panchkhal-3.



After hitting the motorcycle, the bus dragged Khatri along 10 meters, according to Hari Dulal, a local.



Irate locals vandalized the bus after the incident.



The bus driver is in police custody.



The Panchkhal section of the Araniko Highway was obstructed following the incident.
