NUWAKOT, Jan 12: Some 28 pairs of bulls are fighting in Nuwakot on Maghe Sangkranti (January 15) this year.
Bull fighting is organized on the occasion of Maghe Sankranti every year in Taruka and Betrawati of Nuwakot.
This year 18 pairs of bulls are set for fighting at Tarukeswor rural municipality-2, Taruka.
According to fair organizing committee, farmers have registered 18 pairs of bulls for fighting at Taruka this year.
Tarukeswor-2 Ward Chair Samar Bahadur Ale Magar shared that the preparations for bull fighting fair have been complete.
Likewise, preparations have been over for bull fighting in Bidur municipality-10, Betrawati. Some 10 pairs of bulls have been registered for fighting this year, shared Gosainkunda Youth Club Chair Suraj Labat.(RSS)
