TAPLEJUNG, March 16: A man died after being mistakenly shot by his own elder brother while out for hunting at Tribeni Rural Municipality -3 in Taplejung district on Friday.

Dibas Ambuhang, 22, died after receiving a bullet fired by his own elder brother Subas Anghung in the course of hunting, said District Police Office, Taplejung.
Police have taken 33-year-old Subas, Birendra Ambuhang and 33-year-old Dhan Kumar Shrestha, a local, under control in connection with the incident, said DSP Gyanendra Bahadur Basnet.
