The Nepali Congress is going to organize a special function in BP Museum premises at Sundarijal on Friday, to commemorate the great leader on the presence of NC President Sushil Koirala.
On the occasion, saplings will be planted in Shanti Batika at Ratna Park on Friday, informed NC Kathmandu District President Bhimsen Das Pradhan.
The principle of socialism adopted by BP Koirala is still relevant, he said, adding that its genuine implementation will lead the country to development and prosperity.
BP Koirala, who was born in Bhadra 24, 1971 BS, is also remembered as a noted literary figure.
NC and its sister organizations are organizing various programs in different parts of the country on the occasion of BP Memorial Day.
