“A known person from the locality asked me who else was at home when I was cooking at the kitchen,” the boy said at the Amlekhgunj police post. [break]“When I told I was alone and that my aunt had gone to a monastery, he called his friends and they raped me showing knives.”
The boy said he was forced to bear everything silently because they threatened to kill him if he made noise.
“They took turns raping me until I fainted. My relatives had gathered when I regained consciousness,” he related the painful event. “I told everything to my aunt and we came to the police,” he added.
The aunt said that the devastated boy tried to commit suicide Friday. “We all persuaded him and hopefully he has given up the thought of taking his life,” said the aunt.
The police have arrested six youths based on the complaint by the boy and the victim has identified five of them. The five have been identified as Suresh Pathak, 20, Pradip Bohora, 20, Sajan Thapa, 20, Yam Bahadur Rana Thakuri, 19, and Sami Lama, 21.
