Boxer Gosain found dead in Bhaktapur

KATHMANDU, Jan 18: Boxer Nita Gosain, who  used to play on behalf of the Armed Police Force, has been found dead.

According to DSP Basanta Pathak of the District Police Range, Bhaktapur, she was found dead in her house located in Bhaktapur Municipality-8. DSP Pathak said, "It is said that her brother cut the rope after finding her hanging.”

He said that the body has been sent for a post-mortem and further investigation is ongoing. The family has also filed a complaint against a person in the police circle, Jagati for the offense of abetting suicide.

Based on the complaint, the person was arrested and an investigation was started, DSP Pathak said.
