Bolero jeep accident-five dead identified

DHULIKHEL, Sept 26: Of six persons killed in a road accident involving a Bolero jeep at Nigale of Aambote of Roshi Rural Municipality-3 in Kavrepalanchowk late this morning, five have been identified. They all are women.

DHULIKHEL, Sept 26: Of six persons killed in a road accident involving a Bolero jeep at Nigale of Aambote of Roshi Rural Municipality-3 in Kavrepalanchowk late this morning, five have been identified. They all are women. 



Police identified the deceased as Khelimaya Bal, 35, Putalimaya Bal, 20, Mhendomaya Jimba, 22, Manisha Moktan, 27 and Kumari Jimba, 19 of Mahabharat Rural Municipality-2. According to the District Police Office, Kavrepalanchowk's police inspector Rabiraj Thapaliya, the sixth victim is male and police are trying to establish his identity. 



A little baby girl Kristina Moktan (20 months-old) has gone missing in the incident. 

Injured Avishek Tamang was rescued by the police and was flown to Kathmandu via a helicopter for treatment. Rescue efforts for others are underway. A total of 17 people were traveling in the reserved jeep. RSS
