Speaking at aprogramme organised jointly by Newa Mukti Morcha and Newa Mukti Manka Dabu on the occasion of Nepal Sambat 1131 in Bhaktapur, he said that the UCPN-Maoist will lead such a movement. [break]
Efforts are being made to declare emergency in the country and impose presidential rule, he said. If the CPN-UML and the Nepali Congress go for presidential rule Nepali people will fight "the final war", he said.
He said that the Maoist party has shown too much flexibility to forge political consensus. "Congress has negative opinions about the concept of state restructuring and UML has no clear idea for this."
On the occasion, Maoist leader Hitman Shakya said that some forces are trying to convert the country into Afghanistan.
