KATHMANDU, Aug 24: Doctors at TU Teaching Hospital, Maharajgunj have succeeded in identifying body parts of three Makawanpur plane crash victims on Wednesday.
The body parts of aircraft captain Laxman Prakash Shah (pilot), co-pilot Sofiya Singh and aircraft attendant Sara Sherpa have been identified. [break] Shah´s body part was identified with the help of mole on his leg while Sherpa´s with nail polish on her finger and her hair. Also, Singh´s body was identified with her hair.
Family members took the body parts of Sherpa to Swayambhu to perform her final rituals.
Our correspondent Sundar Khanal reported that the doctors are finding very difficult to identify the body of the crash victims as Nepal is able to perform DNA test only with the blood.

Family members of the deceased have thronged to the hospital.
A German-built Dornier aircraft operated by Agni Air crashed at Shikharpur of Makwanpur district Tuesday morning killing all 14 on board which include five Nepali passengers, three Nepali crew members, four Americans, a Japanese youth and a Briton.
