KATHMANDU, Oct 16: The dead bodies of five Nepalis killed last week in the attacks of the Hamas group in Kibbutz-Alumim of the Sebod Negev Agriculture Center in Israel were handed over to the Nepal Embassy on Sunday.

Ten Nepalis were killed last week by the Palestinian militant group Hamas.

According to the Embassy, it received the dead bodies of Narayan Prasad Neupane, Lokendra Singh Dhami, Ganesh Kumar Nepali, Dipesh Raj Bista and Ashish Chaudhary.

Similarly, the embassy mentioned that the remains of other Nepalis who lost their lives in the attacks would be received gradually. It further said efforts were underway to ensure the prompt repatriation of the received dead bodies to Nepal.

Nepal brought back 254 Nepalis from the conflict zone on October 13.
