KATHMANDU, Dec 17: Bishal Bikram KC's 63 in 79 deliveries including four boundaries and a six supported by Narayan Joshi' slate order unbeaten cameo 46 including five boundaries and a six in 23 deliveries help Nepal set up a challenging total of 183 for the loss of 6 wickets in 35 overs per side match.
Nepal was struggling at 4 for 66 in the 16th over before Bishal combined with Sunil Bhandari (15) and Narayan Joshi to rescue Nepal to a commandable position.
Earlier, Nepal won the toss and elected to bat first in a title clash against Singapore in the ACC U-16 Eastern Region Cricket Tournament. Nepal overcame Malaysia by 72 runs in the semifinal encounter on Saturday.
The tournament’s final match between Nepal and Singapore, which beat Hong Kong by eight wickets in the other semifinal clash, has been held at Terdthai Cricket Ground (TCG), Bangkok.
