BIRGUNJ, March 22: The second medical test of Birgunj-based industrialist Shiva Kumar Rungata, who had initially tested positive for coronavirus, has turned out to be negative.
Rungata was undergoing treatment at Patna Medical College in Bihar after he was suspected of being infected by the novel coronavirus.

Earlier, the doctors had told Rungata's family members that he tested positive for COVID-19. Rungata's brother Suresh had also shared the Birgunj-based entrepreneurs that his brother had tested positive for the deadly virus.
However, the final medical test of Rungata conducted at Rajendra Memorial Research Institute of Medical Sciences has turned out to be negative, according to his family members.
"The second test has turned out to be negative. His health condition is gradually improving," Akash Rungata, the nephew of Shiva Kumar, told Republica Online late Sunday evening.
