KATHMANDU, Aug 10: Police have apprehended poet Khem Thapaliya for his alleged involvement in the outlawed Chand-led Nepal Communist Party from Bagbazaar in the capital on Saturday.

A joint team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force nabbed Thapaliya. He has been a vocal critic of the Oli-led government.
It is said that Thapaliya has been a member of the cultural wing of the Chand-led outfit.
