KATHMANDU, June 6: The Parliamentary Social Justice and Human Rights Committee on Tuesday has endorsed the Bill on forming a Muslim Commission after through deliberations in the House.

Committee President Sushil Kumar Shrestha shared that the Bill was unanimously endorsed after all members of the Committee aired their views to that effect.

The Constitution of Nepal has specified the provision on forming the Muslim Commission for the up-lift of Muslim community. The parliamentary discussion was held in order to translate the constitutional provision in to action.

The Committee had formed a sub-committee under the premiership of Mokhtar Mohammad to submit the report to the Committee after discussion on the Bill. RSS
