ILAM, Jan 13: Bibeksheel Nepali Party has expressed its support to the ongoing demands of Dr. Govinda KC and urged the government to fulfill the agreement it reached with the medical crusader.
Authoritarian, unilateral decisions made us part ways
The party's provincial assembly member of Province 3, Ramesh Paudel said that it was not about Dr. KC winning or losing. "It is more about whether the mafias will win or if 30 million Nepalis would win."
Dr. KC is on his 16th hunger strike at Ilam demanding the government to fully implement the agreement it reached. "Failing to implement the agreement questions the government's credibility -- even when it has the 2/3rd majority," Paudel said adding that although KC's health condition was deteriorating, the government had turned a deaf ear to Dr. KC's pleas.
