KATHMANDU, Nov 1: Bibeksheel Nepali Dal has expressed its solidarity with Senior Orthopedic Surgeon Govinda KC and medical students who have been agitating against "mafias" in the medical sector.
"The party demands the medical college administrations to pay back the over-charged fees immediately to medical students along with its interest which was earlier illicitly collected from them in such a sensitive sector of medical education," read the press statement of the party on Friday.

The party also urged the concerned stakeholders to take stern action against medical owners who repeatedly tortured the students both physically and mentally.
According to party secretary (policy) Sanjeev Bhattarai, the party would strongly protest against the government if the rightful demands of Dr KC and medical students are not addressed in time.
