Bhutanese king returns to his country

Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck returned to his country on Friday after his brief stopover in Kathmandu. Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba bid him farewell at Tribhuvan International Airport.

KATHMANDU, Dec 6: Bhutanese King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck returned to his country on Friday after his brief stopover in Kathmandu. Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba bid him farewell at Tribhuvan International Airport.

Wangchuck, who arrived in Kathmandu this morning as part of an unofficial visit, paid a visit and offered prayers at Swayambhunath and Bauddhanath. He came to Kathmandu for a brief stopover while returning to his country from an official visit to India.
