However, the district committee has not yet revealed which constituencies the two leaders would contest the CA elections from. District level leader Yan Prasad Bhatta, who is supposed to be close to Bhattarai, said, "Bhattarai would contest the elections from constituency number 1."[break]
Bhattarai was elected from constituency number 2 in the 2008 CA elections.
Leaders have said that a total of 15 candidates have been nominated -- five for each constituency.
Meanwhile, CPN-UML´s far western regional committee has nominated various leaders including former Home Minister Bhim Rawal as candidates for the upcoming elections. "Bhim Rawal will contest the election from constituency number 1 of Achham," said leaders.
