RATNANAGAR, July 28: The Bharatpur metropolitan city employees and people's representatives here have financially contributed to the Gautam Buddha International Cricket Stadium Construction Project. They have provided Rs 5.15 million to the Dhurmus- Suntali Foundation.
The project is to be undertaken under this Foundation. Metropolis mayor Renu Dahal handed the check of the assistance amount to Foundation chair and noted comedian Sitaram Kattel ' Dhurmus' amidst a program here today.

The amount was collected from employees and people's representatives of all 29 wards under the metropolis. On the occasion, the mayor said the locals were very excited over the project of the national pride, underlining the need of creating a favorable atmosphere to this regard nationally and internationally. The local government in the current fiscal allocated Rs 54.5 million to the project and the Province 3 government also released Rs 50 million to it.
Currently, works relating to the detailed project report are going on, said Kattel. The Foundation and the Bharatpur metropolis had signed an agreement for the project implementation on January 30 early this year. -------
