KATHMANDU, Dec 2: Prof Rama Sharma has been awarded with this year’s Bharati Kharel Memorial Award for her notable contributions to Nepali literature. A meeting of the organization held recently had decided to award Kharel for her contribution to the field. The award carries a purse of Rs 51,000
The award was presented to Sharma on the 81st memorial day of late Kharel amid a function here in the capital Sunday.
Chief of Province-3 Anuradha Koirala gave away the award to Kharel. While distributing the award, Koirala urged one and all to involve in social works. Sharma has published half a dozen of literary books. RSS
