Bhaktapur District Administration Office issues 27-point order

KATHMANDU, Jan 19: The District Administration Office (DAO), Bhaktapur, has issued a 27-point order effective from today to prevent the further spread of coronavirus infection. Chief District Officer Rudra Devi Sharma issued the order.

Any person or organization disobeying the order will be punished according to the Infectious Diseases Act, 2020. The order includes not holding crowded gatherings such as meetings and gatherings till mid-February, conducting daily worship only in monasteries and religious places, not operating the educational institutions physically till January 29, and teaching the students by adopting virtual or alternative teaching methods.

Similarly, from January 21, service recipients in all public bodies in the district will have to show vaccination cards, no more than 25 persons should be allowed to enter at a time and that too by maintaining physical distance in shopping malls, full adherence to health standards. Orders have been issued to close cinema halls, dance bars, rehearsal, dance halls, clubs, health clubs, gyms, swimming pools and futsals till January 29.
