With rapid population growth and commercialization, the city I once knew has been completely transformed and I believe that after 10 years maybe this place will be nothing but a concrete jungle.

BHAKTAPUR, August 10: The swollen Manohara River has inundated settlements of landless squatters at Madhyapur Thimi Municipality-1. Following heavy rain on Tuesday night, the river has deluged approximately 800 houses along the river banks, said Shree Bhakta Kasichhwa, member of the Province Sports Development Council, Bagmati Province and former chair of the Bhaktapur district sports development committee, who joined forces for a rescue.
